Summary Recently retired as Managing Director of Schaeffler (UK) Ltd (a global manufacturing company supplying the automotive sector).
A total of 48 years in technical and leadership roles in Industry, the last three years as a personal coach and business advisor to Senior Schaeffler business leaders in the USA, Mexico and Canada.
Led a Culture Change Programme whereby learning and development was established as key to improving business performance. The increased productivity and adaptability achieved secured new investment into the business and transfer of product from Eastern Europe back to the UK.
Developed and published the first Manufacturing Strategy for Wales.
